This website (bharatxawards.com) is operated by Voro Ventures Private Limited ("we", "us"), the organiser of BharatX Awards. This policy explains what personal data we collect, why, and the choices you have. We process personal data in line with applicable Indian law, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

What we collect

• Nominations: nominee name, organisation, role, city, state, phone, email, website or social link, years of experience, the story and numbers you share; and, if you nominate someone else, your name, phone, email and relationship to them.
• Sponsor and contact enquiries: name, company, designation, phone, email, city, website, budget range and your message.
• Technical data: IP address and the time of submission, used to prevent spam and abuse.

We don't use advertising trackers on this website. Your browser may store small, functional items (for example, whether you have already seen the opening animation).

Why we use it

• To review, verify and evaluate nominations, and to contact nominees and nominators.
• To share nominations with our expert panel for evaluation.
• To respond to sponsorship, stall, media and general enquiries.
• To send event updates, where you have opted in. You can opt out any time.
• To keep the website secure and prevent fraudulent or automated submissions.

Nominating someone else

If you nominate another person, please make sure you are comfortable sharing their contact details with us. We will contact them to tell them about the nomination and that you put their name forward, and we will remove their details if they ask us to.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with members of our expert panel (for evaluation), service providers who help us run the event (for example, email, hosting and event logistics), and authorities where required by law. If you are selected and attend, your name, organisation, category and photographs from the event may be published as part of event coverage.

How long we keep it

We keep nomination and enquiry data for as long as needed to run the current edition and plan future editions, and for no longer than 36 months unless the law requires otherwise. You can ask us to delete it sooner.

Your rights

You can ask to access, correct or delete your personal data, withdraw consent for updates, or raise a grievance by writing to info@bharatxawards.com. We will respond within a reasonable time.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures, including restricted access to stored submissions, to protect your data. No method of transmission over the internet is fully secure, so we can't guarantee absolute security.
